Attention crew members on the CoastStarlight fyi at the end of your first leg of your trip in Seattle seems now someone may do a walk through inspecting and takings pictures of your car if it isn’t satisfactory they will call you and advise you of a verbal warning if that’s the case I’m thinkin they should have someone meet us and release us after inspection holding the van or paying for Lyfts .

***To all TCU 2508 members***

I know that many of you are feeling anxious and frustrated about the union negotiations. I want to assure you that the negotiations are almost complete, but they are not done yet. We are working hard to get the best possible deal for our members, and we will not settle for anything less.

I understand that you are all eager to know when the negotiations will be finalized and when you will receive your backpay. However, I ask you to be patient. The longer we wait, the more money we will get back from backpay.

In the meantime, please stay informed about the negotiations by visiting the TCU 2508 Facebook group page. I will try my best to provide regular updates as soon as we have any new information.

Pacific Surfliner

Those on the Surfliner assignment that require you to go home after working 16.42 hours then require you to report the next day at 6:00 AM should tell CMC when accepting the assignment “I am willing to accept the assignment but under protest due to the violation of Rule 11 Section 1 paragraph F of the contract.” Please make sure to say “It is unsafe and putting people’s lives at risk due to not getting proper rest time.”

Amtrak needs to give us a hotel room for the layover in LA or give us the rest time equal to the hours worked.
