Flash back to the roar of crowds at Sepang as our engines warm up once more 🏎️

After a nine-year absence, Formula 1 is officially returning to Malaysia. The Sepang International Circuit will host the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix from October 2-4, 2026. This circuit has historically given the world some of F1’s most iconic races, from monsoons to legendary podium wins.

14 stripes. 14 points on the star. One crescent moon. 🇲🇾

The red and white stripes represent Malaysia's 13 states and the federal territories. The crescent and 14-pointed star on a field of blue represent Islam as the official religion and the unity of those same states. The yellow is the color of Malaysian royalty, and together they make up one large point of national pride!

Take a seat, watch the show, and learn about Malaysian culture 🌙

Wayang kulit, Malaysian shadow puppetry, is a famous art form that has been performed continuously for over a thousand years. The dalang, or master puppeteer, controls dozens of characters alone, improvising dialogue, manipulating puppets, and directing the gamelan orchestra all at once. These performances have historically passed down cultural knowledge, moral lessons, and spiritual ritual.

The Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in Sabah has been returning injured orangutans to the wild since 1964, and it’s one of the oldest and most successful programs of its kind on Earth. Bornean orangutans are currently classified as critically endangered, and Malaysia is focused on protecting this beautiful species that calls us home 🧡
