What can you buy in Morocco? 🇲🇦

Morocco is a unique destination when it comes to shopping. The craftsmanship is incredible, and the list of things you can bring home is almost endless.

Carpets, traditional lanterns, spices, argan oil, scented oils, leather goods, clothes, jewelry, ceramics, pottery, handmade baskets and so much more.

Many of these pieces are handmade by local artisans, with techniques passed down through generations.

And honestly, half the fun is walking through the souks, discovering something you didn’t even know you wanted, and bargaining for it. 😄

Come to Morocco and leave with a little piece of it.

We visited Morocco and made sure to include Essaouira in our itinerary. This historic coastal city is known for its beautiful ramparts and old fortifications, which have inspired filmmakers from around the world.

And yes… we’re walking inside the very place where Daenerys Targaryen took control of the Unsullied in Game of Thrones. In the series, this city was Astapor. 🐉

Trust me, Essaouira is definitely worth adding to your Morocco itinerary. 🇲🇦🌍
