AB 1138 has passed! The goal of expanding and modernizing California’s Film and Television Jobs Program was achieved through the tireless efforts of WGAW members, our partners in the EUC, and our allies in the state legislature.

The legislation, championed by unions and production advocates that have been raising the alarm on the state’s anemic production levels, now moves to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s desk for final approval.
