Thank you to everyone who joined us for Laugh Night at Freedom Plaza in support of Mental Health Awareness Month. We’re grateful to our amazing partners, , and our tenants and Art Space HP for helping create such a special evening for our community.
From comedy and connection to resources and family activities, this event reminded us of the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels seen, welcomed, and supported.

That’s why conversations, community, and laughter matter. 💛 This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re creating space to laugh, connect, heal, and remind each other that nobody has to carry everything alone. “Hold Me” because sometimes support starts with simply being there. 🎤✨

Community impact starts with opportunity 🤝
 
Thank you to our incredible partners Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), WorkSource Center, Panda Express, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD-CSP), Kinecta, Nike, Jamba Juice, employers, and everyone who joined us at the Freedom Plaza Job Fair.
 
With 34 employers and over 140 job seekers in attendance, the event created meaningful connections, on-the-spot interviews, and new opportunities for the Watts community and future employees.
 
We’re proud to continue opening our spaces for programs and partnerships that directly support and empower our community. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible. 
 
We are looking forward to hosting additional job fairs in the near future.
