American Brass Training American Brass Training is a full service NRA Pistol and Firearm training company founded by Clint Collins This includes their parts, assembly, and function.

American Brass Training was founded by Clint Collins. Clint is an Airforce Veteran and an Endowment Life NRA Member with 40 years of firearms experience. After realizing the need for individuals to

understand the safe and practical uses of guns, he focused his attention on just that: Firearm Training. You will find his approach to teaching informative yet approachable. You will walk away with a vast knowledge of correct gun handling and usage as well as the confidence of knowing how to protect yourself in times of crisis. More specifically, he teaches three main types of pistols, semi-automatic and single action and double action revolvers. All courses are taught at Los Altos Rod and Gun Club in Los Gatos.

This is a "Match Lock" that showed up at the range last week. I have never seen one fire. Quite the treat. These were before flint locks. 1600's I belive. The rope looking match that is smoldering swings back to light the powder in the pan after you ram your powder, patch, and ball down the barrel.
