I sit on the waterfront at the southern end of Morro Bay, a hidden gem half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco in the best part of the State: the rural California Central Coast.

I am a perfect romantic hideaway…for lovers of nature, serendipity or any who want to nurture themselves.

I can offer you action and adventure in an undiscovered coastal paradise or quiet solitude for reflection and renewal…all in an environment of abundant comfort, peaceful privacy and endless views of water, mountain and sand.

I am your home base for exploring all that is around me and all that is within you.

Come and stay a spell with me. Enjoy a glass of award-winning Central Coast wine as you sit quietly on my deck and watch the pelicans, herons, snowy plovers and peregrine falcons while the sun slips silently into the horizon.

As you approach for the first time and my purple door swings open, you sense that something unusual waits within…

A hint of peace arises as your eyes follow the light to the large kitchen, which welcomes the sky and bay views through my picture windows.

You step onto my deck where you can sit with your coffee or glass of wine and look down along the shoreline, across the bay to Morro Rock, to the sand spit and the surrounding mountains.

Whether you are looking for action, peace, solitude or romance, I offer you a unique ‘road less traveled’ experience of beautiful views, nature immersion, renewal and the joys of serendipity.

Perching over the bay it’s a 30 second walk to the water, and an easy walk to Sweet Springs Nature Preserve and beyond to the cute little town of Baywood with its restaurants and Monday Farm Market.

I sit at the southern tip of the Morro Bay estuary on the California Central Coast in a quaint community called Los Osos, named after the grizzly bears that once roamed here. I am 20 minutes from San Luis Obispo and about five miles from the well-known Morro Rock.

My home county is a haven for artists, wine and food aficionados, water sports enthusiasts, antique collectors, hikers, bird watchers, mountain bikers, equestrians and people who appreciate quiet, undiscovered get-away locations.

Although off the beaten tourist path and surrounded by thousands of acres of State Parks and nature preserves, you’ll find farm fresh to table award-winning restaurants, over 300 wineries and unique art galleries sprinkled throughout the county.

My ‘big city’ guests are amazed at our many activities—from live summer music and ‘dancing on the (golf) green’ to ‘beer at the pier’ and farmer’s market—that are infused with hometown friendliness that welcomes you right into the fun.
