Sooooo let me share our travel day with you.

As you know there's a hurricane hitting some parts of Florida, GA, and N.C.

I kinda went into super plan mode to try and avoid the oncoming delays/cancellations.

Thus rerouting us to travel out of Nashville (thank God for good friends & Family).
Well guess what that flight got delayed by an Hour .🙄 we had to unboard and everything.
Ok no panicking until I realize....were going to miss our connection to Cancun😭

But I was like what will be will be. The husband has family in Ft. Lauderdale and we would have just visited (I try to see the "brighter " side).

Welp let me tell you how positive thinking works. We get to Ft.lauderdale and the plane hasnt took off (due to mechanical failure), they put us on another plane 45 minutes later.

And finally we're at our FIRST hotel! The real party starts tomorrow.

I share all of this to say
1. Plan ahead- especially if you have a set agenda, I always try and travel a day ahead if possible.
2.Remain calm & positive- it will ALWAYS work out.
3. Its about the journey as much as the destination
