With the kids out of school and looking for excitement, this summer is going to be all about family fun. Here’s a sneak peek of how any family can make unforgettable memories at Walt Disney World.
Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station
Our favorite Heelers are on their way to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Starting May 26, you can play and dance with Bluey and Bingo as they take an excursion over to Conservation Station.
Once you hop off the Wildlife Express Train, get ready for fun. Play special games directly from Bluey episodes, grab a photo with Bluey and Bingo themselves, and even discover animals native to Bluey’s home country, Australia, at “Jumping Junction.”
Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ R***e
Young deputies are invited to mosey on over to the Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom for a rootin’ tootin’ good time this summer. Join Jessie, Woody, Bullseye and more Toy Story pals for an energized roundup with songs, dance, games, and other playful activities.
GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall
A Cool KIDS’ SUMMER special, you can dance and play along with the Goof Troop, DJ Dance Pants, and Goofy himself during wacky activities at CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT. Goofy’s Game Machine brings silly, kid-approved games like Goofy Says, Balloon Bonanza, and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks.
Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!
It’s time to Mousekedance with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a new show coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios May 26. Inspired by Disney Jr.’s global hit series, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, the entire family is invited to a party at the Clubhouse. Mickey and Minnie are ready … only, their guests haven’t arrived yet.
So, Mickey and Minnie are taking you on an adventure to find Goofy, Daisy and Pluto. Get ready to sing along to upbeat original songs, join in on interactive fun and dance like no one is watching.
A Disney Springs Dance Party
When visiting the Marketplace on select nights, break out your best dance moves during a party featuring hits from Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Camp Rock 3, in celebration of the new original movies coming to Disney+ this summer.
Disney Friends Make a Splash at the Water Parks
What makes a Disney water park even more fun? Characters, of course! Just for the summer, you can meet Goofy in his laid-back beach style at Blizzard Beach or catch Stitch spreading playful chaos at Typhoon Lagoon.
If you prefer to splash the night away, you can also check out Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon. It's a separately ticketed event happening on select nights from June 2 – September 5. This year is bringing new waves of excitement as you will get to enjoy the water park after dark, boogie on the beach and see some rare characters like Powerline Max, Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers, and more.
Additional Cool KIDS’ SUMMER Perks for Disney Resort Guests
Early Theme Park Entry
Special surprises are in store for all Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests during their daily 30-minute early theme park entry period (valid theme park admission and a park reservation, if applicable, required).
This summer, character appearances will take place across all four theme parks, giving you more time to interact with some of your favorites. Be sure to visit each theme park across different days so they can see them all!

During Cool KIDS' SUMMER, if you’re staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will have even more experiences and amenities designed for families with young children, including scheduled visits from favorite Disney pals, like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
Prefer to pack light? These four Disney Resort hotels will be ready to cover little one’s needs, from bottle warmers and infant bathtubs to diaper disposals and nightlights, complimentary for guest use during their stay.
If the kids love reading, special libraries from Disney Publishing will be available at these Cool KIDS’ SUMMER resorts. Celebrate beloved stories from Disney Princesses to Disney Heroes and let their imaginations come alive. Plus, on select nights, you can wind down with a pajama party featuring story time and a “create your own bedtime story” activity.
Who doesn’t love a pool party? Stop by the Resort hotel pool for high-energy fun with interactive games.
As the sun sets on select nights, gather round the campfire for marshmallows and a Disney-fueled sing-along.
Even More Excitement This Summer at Disney World
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
We just got word from Star Command: our mission is ready. Join Buzz Lightyear beginning April 8 at Magic Kingdom Park to save the galaxy from the evil emperor Zurg on this recharged attraction.
After boarding your enhanced ride vehicle, guests will meet Buddy, a new support bot at Star Command, who will help them train with some target practice before heading out on their mission. From interactive targets that will now react and light up when hit, to new hand-held blasters that will include an always-on laser and new lighting, sound and vibration effects, Buddy has full confidence the Space Rangers will succeed.
Once you return to Star Command, there will be new Disney PhotoPass memories waiting featuring, for the first time, your scores and rank for all the bragging rights.
And that's not all the fun Magic Kingdom has to offer during Cool KIDS' SUMMER, as the prospectors over at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad put the finishing touches on the wildest ride in the wilderness. The attraction will reopen with new magic and the shine and polish of an all-over refurbishment in early May.
The Mandalorian and Grogu on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
Beginning May 22 at Hollywood Studios (just in time for the new movie), Din Djarin, aka The Mandalorian, and his youngling Grogu lead you on a new mission tracking down ex-Imperial officers throughout the galaxy.
Gather the crew for an exhilarating chase while manning the Millennium Falcon. And, for the first time ever, guests will be in charge of what planets your ship visits, so you may fly through some familiar locations. Plus, a new gameplay addition allows our trusty engineers to communicate directly with Grogu during the mission. This is the way!
The Walt Disney Studios
“The Walt Disney Studios” outdoor courtyard will be ready for families to see and explore on May 26.
And debuting late summer at Hollywood Studios, The Magic of Disney Animation will feature playful moments around every corner. This newly reimagined space will feature a “Drawn to Wonderland” playground, Disney friends ready to say hi in “Off the Page!”, and “Olaf Draws”, where guests of all ages will learn to draw from legendary Disney Animation artists whose pre-recorded guidance brings the class to life along with Olaf. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
This revamped attraction will come speeding into Hollywood Studios this summer, fueled by the fun tunes of the Electric Mayhem and the high-speed hijinks of The Muppets. Stay tuned for more rocking news coming soon!
Soarin’ Across America
“Soarin’ to tower, we’re ready for takeoff.” In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, Soarin’ Across America flies into EPCOT with a brand-new voyage beginning May 26. The new offering will highlight some of the country’s natural beauty – like the Grand Canyon – as well as iconic cityscapes, accompanied by a new orchestration of the classic Soarin' musical theme.
