During our City Experience day, we dove into the Roots 101 African American Museum. And listen up, if you haven’t been, make this a stop on your next trip.

A journey through history that brought tears, powerful emotions, and a deep connection to our ancestors. From hearing the powerful voices to feeling the weight of the chains.

This museum showcases the rich tapestry of African American history, from the transatlantic slave trade to the Civil Rights Movement and even giving us flashbacks to Big Mama’s house.

We are still riding a high from Nomadness Fest🙌🏾🥳 But we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. From our attendees to our volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and everyone in between, we couldn’t do this without you! You continue to make Nomadness Fest grow, but remain in our roots of being a space that curates the travel industry’s most honest and communal conversations on what it is like to navigate the world as a person of color.

We are on the West Plaza of the park. If coming from Main Street, go up the walkway towards the water, and you'll see our set up and registration on the left.

Although the Muhammad Ali Center is our second stage, there will be no registration at the Ali Center. All registrations must come through security at Belvedere Park.

Parking is available under Belvedere Park in the Riverfront parking garage. We recommend rideshare drop offs from Main Street.
