Imagine ending your wedding day watching the sunset somewhere in the middle of the ocean, then heading to an adults-only dinner while the sound of the water follows you back to your private balcony stateroom.

A Disney cruise honeymoon honestly sounds kind of incredible.

One thing I think people don’t talk about enough is that there are SO many different ways to “do Disney.”

Not every trip has to be rope drop to fireworks.
Not every kid can handle nonstop stimulation all day long.
Not every family wants a super packed itinerary.

And that’s okay.

Some of my favorite Disney days have involved:
✨ slow mornings
✨ midday resort breaks
✨ mobile ordering food and sitting somewhere quiet for a bit
✨ taking the train around Magic Kingdom just because
✨ leaving the park earlier than planned instead of pushing everybody too far

Disney trips don’t have to look a certain way to still be magical.

Whether your family has sensory sensitivities, mobility concerns, food allergies, younger kids who still need naps, or you simply want a slower-paced vacation, there are a LOT of ways to plan a trip that works better for your family instead of against it.

That’s honestly one of the biggest reasons I love helping people plan vacations... figuring out how to make the trip fit YOU, not the other way around.

PARENTS, this is the part you actually need to know about the new Bluey experience at Animal Kingdom.

It is opening with a VIRTUAL QUEUE.

That means there will NOT be a regular standby line when it first opens on TOMORROW (5/26).

If your child is fully Bluey-obsessed and you do not want to risk disappointment, please do not ignore this post and then act shocked later.

You’ll be able to join the queue through the My Disney Experience app at:
• 7 AM
• 10 AM

For the 7 AM queue:
✔️ You need valid admission
✔️ You do NOT need to physically be inside Animal Kingdom yet

For the 10 AM queue:
✔️ You must already be inside Animal Kingdom to join

Also important:
To get to Bluey’s Wild World, Jumping Junction, and the Animal Care area, you’ll need to take the Wildlife Express Train near Harambe Market. 🚂

I’ve been talking a lot about Disney Cruise Line lately (probably because that’s all that’s been on my mind), but what we haven’t really discussed is what DCL actually has to offer on their ships.

And honestly? It’s a LOT more than I think people realize.

✨ Broadway-style shows
✨ deck parties and fireworks at sea
✨ character meet-and-greets throughout the ship
✨ themed dining experiences
✨ first-run Disney movies
✨ waterslides, pools, and aqua play areas
✨ kids clubs
✨ adults-only dining, lounges, and pool spaces
✨ Disney’s private island destinations

And one thing I personally think Disney does REALLY well is making family (and special needs) travel feel easier.

The staterooms are actually designed with families in mind, with things like split bathrooms, privacy curtains, and extra storage that genuinely make a difference when you’re traveling with kids.

But my favorite thing about Disney cruises honestly might be the balance.

Kids can be fully immersed in all the Disney magic while adults also get an actual vacation. One person can be riding the AquaMouse while another is relaxing at an adults-only pool with a drink in hand, and somehow everybody wins.

There’s just something really special about unpacking once, waking up somewhere new, and having Disney handle the details while you focus on making memories instead of logistics.

The more Disney releases about the Bluey experience at Animal Kingdom, the more I realize parents are about to absolutely empty their wallets this summer. 😂

The actual experience is going to include things like Keepy Uppy, Magic Asparagus, music, dancing, bubbles, and appearances from Bluey and Bingo.
..but then there’s the merch.
There are shirts, sweatshirts, stuffies, headbands, rain jackets… and honestly some of it is really cute. The Bluey and Bingo "ears" are probably going to disappear immediately.

Also, shout out to Disney for quietly including baby essentials like diapers, wipes, sunscreen, formula, etc. at Conservation Station because that is GENUINELY helpful for families on vacation.

Disney is offering discounted room rates at select resorts this summer, including:

⚜️ Port Orleans Riverside from $169/night
🚘 Art of Animation Cars Suites from $249/night
🎠 Saratoga Springs Deluxe Studios from $279/night
🦒 Animal Kingdom Lodge Savanna View rooms from $369/night

Some of these are really solid options, depending on your travel style.

Port Orleans Riverside is one of my favorite “slow down and breathe for a second” resorts on property, Art of Animation is great for larger families, and waking up at Animal Kingdom Lodge while giraffes casually wander outside your balcony never really stops being surreal. 😭
