My World Travel Custom Travel Planner {think: your own travel assistant!}. Owned & operated by in Lo Find your inspiration at www.myworldtravelco.com.

My goal is to offer the resources for an efficient planning process, while providing thorough research of the destination based on your travel interests and budget. Beginning at any point in the planning process, My World will carry the weight of the planning, coordinating, and scheduling, and may only require you to say “yes” or “no” to a beer garden bike ride in Munich, to a river rafting trip i

n Colorado, or to a “midnight sun” boat ride in Norway. This service caters to travelers of all varieties—from leisure, to corporate, to adventure, to educational. With an eye for fun, comfort, and cultural immersion, My World aims to design an itinerary with a few (or a lot of) activities to acquaint yourselves with the authenticity of your destination culture. You will embark on your adventure equipped with an itinerary, a 24/7 contact, and maybe even a cheat sheet of 10 words you should know for your trip.

Katie here, with a “Where I Stayed: Scotland Edition!” 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The Bonham Hotel | Edinburgh 📍 The Bonham Hotel
Located in Edinburgh’s West End, The Bonham was the perfect luxurious place to land, recover from jet lag, and feel a little pampered. The view from our room was mind-blowing.

They have two dining options onsite: a casual bar & lounge and a breakfast-turned-fine-dining restaurant. The concierge was also top notch, especially when it came to traveling with a toddler. Before we even arrived, they’d answered all my questions, put milk in our room for her, shared kid-friendly room service options, and mapped out the nearest grocery stores. 👏

The Pitlochry Pad | Airbnb 📍
About 1.5 hours from Edinburgh, our next home base was Pitlochry. Often called the “Gateway to the Highlands,“ it’s a charming village, but within easy reach of that wild Highlands scenery.

We. were. OBSESSED.

We strategically chose an Airbnb with a view because we knew we’d have some afternoons staying put for naps and meltdowns. I counted 50 baby lambs from our window, y’all, and I miss them every day. 🐑

Pitlochry itself is sooo charming, with a quaint village center, Victorian architecture, and gorgeous river views from the Pitlochry Dam. It does get busy during the day with tour groups and buses, but it made an amazing base.

Within an hour, we could reach Blair Castle & Gardens, Queen’s View, a working sheepdog demonstration in Kingussie, and the Strathspey Railway for afternoon tea on a train. You could also easily add Dunkeld, Aberfeldy, Balmoral Castle, or more time exploring the Cairngorms.

Would you rather base yourself in a charming village like Pitlochry, or stay deeper in the Highlands? 👀

Two hotels, two different sides of Costa Rica. Both as dreamy as it gets. 🌴

Sami here 👋🏻, with a little recap of the hotels I stayed in on my recent trip to Costa Rica!

Hotel Nantipa // Santa Teresa, Nicoya Peninsula
Located in one of the world’s Blue Zones, this beachfront boutique hotel welcomed me with fresh coconut water and the most magical beach view I’ve ever seen. Chlorine-free pool with poolside service, a laid-back private beach lounge, suite-style rooms, and service so seamless you can WhatsApp the front desk for literally anything. Aside from beach bumming, I fit in a surf lesson, a bioluminescence tour, and ziplining — all arranged through Nantipa. Oh, and their sustainability practices are my fav part: solar water heaters, recycled wastewater irrigation, and a genuine commitment to protecting their corner of paradise and the people around it.

Finca Rosa Blanca // Heredia, outside San José
Only 30 minutes from the airport but feels a world away. A boutique coffee estate named one of National Geographic’s Unique Lodges of the World, and it earns it. Forest-view balconies where you can spot toucans and butterflies, a pool surrounded by lush greenery, an incredible restaurant, and a guided coffee farm tour and tasting that had me bringing home multiple bags (and drinking even more while I was there). A completely different vibe from Nantipa, and exactly what makes Costa Rica so magical, each region has its own unique environment.

If Costa Rica has been calling your name, I’d LOVE to help you answer it. Send me a DM and let’s start planning!! ✨

Pura Vida! 🌊🏄🏻‍♀️

Today we’re addressing the hard-hitting question of what role AI plays in travel planning. Is it an amazing tool for gathering data? Absolutely. Are Katie Kubitskey, Amy Fossaluzza Nelson, and Sami Hagan replaceable? Absolutely not something we’re worried about. 💅🏼

⭐️ MY WORLD TRAVELER REVIEW ⭐️

“We loved the whole trip - the scenery in Torres del Paine was amazing. Seeing penguins in three different locations was beyond compare. Being able to round Cape Horn and have the experience of seeing it from the ship’s deck was incredible. The seemingly endless waterfalls at Iguazú falls were beyond words. Visiting the different places in 4 countries of Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil was educational and fun! The month we spent there provided countless memories and unforgettable experiences.”

Wow!! I think incredible, amazing, and beyond words are the perfect ways to describe this month long trip around South America. 🤩 Definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

Let us plan your own magical memories of meeting penguins or sailing around a continent at the link in our bio! 🌈
