One of my favorite ways to spend a solo travel day? Catch a game. ⚾️

Whether it’s baseball, football, soccer, or hockey, sports are such a fun way to experience the personality of a city. You get the food, the traditions, the fans, the local energy... all in one place.

One thing I’ve learned: if you’re planning a trip around a big game, book early. The best hotels, flights, and ticket options can disappear quickly.

And when I plan sports trips, I love finding hotels that are walkable or have easy public transportation access to the stadium. That means you can enjoy the hot dogs, the beer, and the game-day atmosphere without worrying about driving home afterward. 🌭🍺

Sports travel is one of those experiences that gives you a real feel for a destination, and I love helping clients build trips around it.

People are always surprised how I travel for 9-14 days in Europe with just a backpack + purse ✈️

One-bag travel makes Europe SO much easier — trains, cobblestones, stairs, tiny hotel rooms… all better without giant luggage dragging behind you.

My setup:🎒 Osprey Farpoint 40 👜 Baggallini Everywhere Crossbody

My biggest tricks: • Wear the bulky stuff on the plane • 4-outfits, 1 color palette • Pack in layers and accessorize • Limit shoes (seriously) • Use Packing Cubes • Use travel undies/socks that wash/dry easily

Portugal has been on my list for awhile, and for my birthday trip, I finally got to experience it firsthand 🇵🇹

And while this was absolutely a personal trip, I also took the opportunity to explore it through the lens of my clients…figuring out which cities fit which travel styles, what pacing actually works, and how different regions completely change the feel of the trip.

We explored Lisbon, Vila do Conde, Porto, the Douro Valley, Aveiro, Costa Nova, Évora, Albufeira, and Lagos, while also touring 7 hotels ranging from everyday affordable to true 5-star luxury.

Maybe your Portugal trip is the “main hits.”Maybe it’s slower, more local, and a little off the beaten path. Or maybe it’s a personalized golf or surfing trip.

My goal is never just to send clients “somewhere”. It’s to help them experience the version of Portugal that fits them best. ✨

I was only in London for 5 days… and it completely stuck with me. 🇬🇧✨

It’s one of those cities you could go back to again and again — exploring every nook, every neighborhood, every corner — and still feel like there’s more to discover.

Yes, it’s an amazing first international trip.
Easy flights from the U.S., no language barrier, so much to see.

But what surprised me is how much it also works for seasoned travelers. There’s depth here. Layers. History, culture, food, neighborhoods — you can go as deep as you want.

And it’s the perfect jumping-off point.
Fly in, spend a few days, get your bearings… then hop on a quick flight or train and continue on to somewhere completely different.

London just works.

And for me… it’s a place I’ll keep going back to. 🤍

Switzerland is one of my favorite trips to plan 🇨🇭✨

I’ve been able to fully immerse myself in it — across 9 cities, 4 iconic train rides, and 4 incredible lakes — learning how to connect it all in a way that actually flows.

A Swiss trip can look like:
🚆 Scenic train journeys through the Alps
🏔️ Mountain towns like Zermatt, Interlaken, or Lucerne
🌊 Time by the lakes (trust me, you’ll want this)
🧀 Cozy dinners with fondue, wine, and views

It’s the kind of destination where the journey is the experience — but getting it right takes thoughtful planning.

I was honored to be a guest at the Army War College’s National Security Seminar at the Carlisle Barracks in Pennsylvania. 75 guests from 32 states were invited to join the students for their capstone week as they graduated from their two-year program. Alongside these military leaders, the guests discussed many areas of national security, as well as getting a private tour of Gettysburg. It was an eye-opening and special week, and makes me even prouder of our military men and women 🇺🇸
