It's Friday again, which means it's time for another round of ! Today we are excited to introduce you to our Secretary, Lion Mark Fietsch.

Mark went to the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree in Business. He worked for Walgreens as a store manager for 20 years in the Chicago area before moving to Louisville with his wife and daughter. Mark recently retired after working for Edward Jones for 24+ years. He has been a member of the Louisville Downtown Lions Club for 25 years. He enjoys traveling, hiking, jazz music and hanging out with his family and their dogs.

Mark has been a great part of our KLEF team for many years and we appreciate his work and look forward to working with him again this fiscal year! Thanks Mark!

We are rolling into day 6 of the Kentucky State Fair today! So far over 600 people have stopped in our booth for a FREE vision screening! Our goal is to provide over 2,000 screenings so please stop by and see us if you are coming to the fair this week! Thank you to ALL of our amazing volunteers who come from across Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio to help us help make this possible!

We're gearing up for golf this time of year and looking for businesses, organizations and individuals to sponsor our 12th Annual Drive 4 Sight Golf Scramble. We are looking for 10 more Putting Green sponsors ($250) to add to our sponsor team and each sponsor will have a large sign on the Putting Green that is at the entrance of the course and highly visible to golfers throughout the day!
