🌺Have you ever been to the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival? It's a definite must-see. The festival is held at EPCOT every spring, focusing on special exhibits, food and entertainment all relating to gardening. 🌼
30 million blooms blanket the park throughout the festival, which runs 90 colorful days and requires two complete crop rotations to keep floral displays fresh and seasonal. It takes more than one full year and about 24,000 cast member hours to prepare for the annual festival.
400 Walt Disney World horticulturists are needed to install the festival landscape, topiaries, and many exhibits; 100 EPCOT horticulturists maintain topiaries and other festival displays. It takes over 4 nights to plant just one side of the Festival Blooms.

Woody's last name was developed during the making of the first movie. This was mainly due to Buzz having a lat name, which made the production team feel that it is only right to have the two main characters both have surnames.

It’s my favorite day of the week … Fun Fact Friday!!!
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, let’s talk a little about Disney's favorite color "Go Away Green" ...
As you step through the gates of Disneyland, Disney World or any other Disney attraction, you are transported to a place where elephants can fly, puppets become real boys and fairy tale characters are neighbors.
And the magic doesn’t stop with what you can see – it also includes what you don’t perceive. The creative geniuses at Disney use visual tricks to hide unsightly yet necessary objects, such as fences, garbage bins, and administrative buildings These objects are all coated in a color known as “Go Away Green” – a shade that’s meant to help things blend in with the landscaping.
From the moment you step inside the parks, Disney wants you to feel as though you’ve been transported to a world of fantasy – one where unsightly things like trash bins don’t exist. So they paint them a very specific shade of green to make everything kind of fade away – hidden in plain sight. Go Away Green is a gray-green (and kinda bluish) shade, tested and formulated to blend in well among almost anything: concrete, landscaping, the sky, you name it. The color doesn’t make things truly invisible, but it does make them really easy to ignore.

Fun Fact Friday -- A few facts about Mickey Mouse

Before Walt Disney created Mickey Mouse, he made Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. But in a dispute with his business partner at Universal, Disney lost Oswald's rights. The loss of his first character inspired the birth of the mouse.
Walt Disney's original name for Mickey was Mortimer the Mouse! However, his wife Lillian Disney felt that it didn't work for the character Walt had created and hence, she suggested Mickey!
Mortimer went on to become Mickey's rival in the animated shows.
The first person to give Mickey his voice was none other than Walt Disney himself!
