Time for another post!

Three of my favorite travel hacks:

📸 Snap a photo of your airport parking spot, future-you will thank you when you’re juggling bags and tired kids on the way home. (You can also drop a pin so you can pull up the location later).
👶🏼 Take a quick picture of your kids the morning of travel, just in case you ever need to describe what they’re wearing (plus, it’s a sweet memory).
🧺 Pack a pop-up laundry hamper, it folds flat, weighs nothing, and keeps hotel or cruise cabins way less chaotic.

🤔Why use a travel agent when you can book it yourself?

Well… sure. You could spend hours doom-scrolling hotel reviews, juggling 12 browser tabs, second-guessing airport codes, and hoping you picked the right resort or cruise ship. You could spend hours trying to figure out Disney's Lightning Lane system or where the best places to eat in Universal are.

You could also cut your own hair (yikes), watch a YouTube video and try to fix your plumbing (bold choice), or try to fix your own car because you watched one YouTube video… but most of us don’t 😅 We call in a professional when it matters.

Travel is no different. You are investing sometimes thousands of your hard earned dollars into a vacation. Why not use a professional? (And bonus: unlike in the examples above, oftentimes you can get my services complimentary for certain vacation types....it doesn't even have to cost you money!)

👉You can book it yourself… but you don’t have to.
When you work with a travel advisor (hi 👋), you get someone who:
• Knows the little upgrades and perks you won’t find on Google
• Has real tips that don’t come from a 15-second TikTok
• Reads resort fine print so you don’t have to
• Knows when it’s worth splurging—and when it’s not
• Watches pricing and promos so you are finding the best value
• Handles issues while you’re already on vacation

Let's talk 2 of the largest cruise ports in the US....Miami and Ft Lauderdale. Did you know they are only about 45 minutes apart? When you are sailing out of either one of them, check flights at BOTH airports (MIA and FLL) as both cruise ports are easily accesible to both airports but often times there are significant price differences. (I often fly into one and out of the other if the price is right!)

I personally MUCH prefer Ft Lauderdale's airport AND cruise port. It is much easier and more convenient to navigate, in my opinion, and I really love the town of Ft Lauderdale. However, sometimes Miami prices much better (and sometimes vice versa!)

You may also want to compare flight times between the two of them as that can also make a difference as can the ability to book a direct flight vs one that requires you to change planes.

Moral of the story: Be sure to check both (or have a travel advisor who is willing to help you out here. 😉)
