In 2015, the carferry route across the lake was officially designated as a continuation of Highway US-10, linking disconnected segments of the highway between Wisconsin and Michigan! 🙌

US-10 is one of only two United States highways utilizing a ferry service connection. The S.S. Badger plays a major role in providing connectivity of US-10 for travelers and commercial cargo in the upper Mid-West!

Welcome to House of Flavors, a Ludington institution since 1929:

This is definitely becoming a problem for all campgrounds. Policies are created from issues. Don't let this issue become a policy. Please follow all rules in the campground

Many campgrounds have prohibited use of electric scooters, electric bikes, and have stopped allowing transient customers to bring their own golf carts. We do not want to have to take the same approach, so we are asking for YOUR help. Please, please, please, slow down. The speed limit in the park is 10 MPH, for ALL motorized vehicles, scooters, bikes, and golf carts. Additionally, if a scooter or bike is built for ONE operator, there should never be an additional rider. One seat? One rider. One stand-on deck? One rider. Please help us keep Poncho's Pond a safe and fun place for all of our guests.

SHOP VAC IMPROVEMENT.
One of our wheels broke on the Shop Vac we use in our trailers so we decided to upgrade them to a better set. The original set was thin plastic. The new ones are wider style skate wheels. AMAZING DIFFERENCE, they roll and spin AMAZING and now we don't have to worry about harming the flooring in the trailers. The four wheels were about 1/2 the price of a new shop vac but I am definitely replacing the wheels on all of our shop vacs.

This season I was given the opportunity to help our local Walley Association and the Michigan DNR in filling up there pond, planting the "just born" Walleys and after 40 days, netting them and transporting them to lakes around Michigan. This is something that most people have no idea, that it goes on behind the scenes. Creating the great fish population throughout Michigan. I would like to thank the Mason County Walley Association for letting me be part of this process and I look forward to helping for many years to come
