This house has it all – a glorious outdoor hot tub to sink into on a cool summer evening or after a frigid ski day. Two beautiful kitchens, two living rooms and two dining rooms. Plenty of room for your group of family or friends! Lake Rescue Chalet sleeps 12 people on two levels that feature three bedrooms apiece. Upstairs and down are connected by a wrought-iron spiral staircase, and each level

has its own lovely bathroom, gas fireplace, and flat-screen TV. It's a terrific home for families and friends who want to spend time together but also cherish their privacy. In spring and summer, your group has exclusive use of a canoe and two kayaks at our private dock 2 minutes walk down a dirt road -- as well as swimming, fishing, birdwatching, sunbathing, or just relaxing! Barbecue on the huge front deck, watch the great blue herons, the loons or the bald eagles that live just over the ridge, play volleyball in the large yard, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, relax on the porch swing, nap in a hammock in the woods, go hiking, take the family on a picnic, or go road or mountain biking. At night, watch the stars while relaxing in the hot tub on the back deck. Combine the great warm-weather activities at Lake Rescue Chalet with incredible leaf-peeping in the fall, awesome winter sports experiences, and Vermont exploring in the undiscovered springtime months, and you have an unparalleled experience! Looking for something to do next Saturday night, Aug. 3? Okemo Valley TV is hosting an Outdoor Movie Night to raise funds for 2024 flood relief. The film is a documentary about Cavendish's struggles last year, and there's a short comedic opening film. Queen of the South Food Truck will be there with scrumptious BBQ. It all starts at 7 in the parking lot. Films start at 8. Bring your own chair or blanket!

Lake Rescue Chalet

Lake Rescue Chalet is a large, pet-friendly vacation rental home with a private dock on Lake Rescue in southern Vermont, just minutes from Okemo and Killington ski resorts. This cozy six-bedroom chalet sleeps 16, with 6 bedrooms, 2 kitchens & 2 living/dining areas, plus an outdoor hot tub. Our three boats are a two-minute walk from the front door.

There’s nothing like spending time with family and friends in the land of maple syrup, blazing foliage, antiques, church steeples, Green Mountains, white snowfields and crystal-clear lakes. The only thing that beats taking a canoe out on a misty summer morning is screaming down a ski slope after a fresh snowfall.

Lake Rescue Chalet has two levels that each feature full open-floor-plan living areas with large Smart TVs, fireplaces and kitchens, connected by a custom spiral staircase. Each level boasts three bedrooms, a perfect arrangement for groups that want to share a vacation but keep their privacy.
