This was one our recent guest reviews! We are blushing with pride. This is exactly why we like to share this space with others ...

“I don’t really have the words to describe my stay, but I’ll try. Wow! First, Brent & Shelly are very kind and easy to communicate with. Check-in was simple. I had arrived early and was able to park on the property, which was a nice surprise. The location. There aren’t words to describe it. Really. It’s right on Legoe Bay. Being able to walk on the beach, sit around the fire pit or in beach chairs by the water is priceless. We saw several sea otters on both nights. Hearing the waves at night (if you’re lucky enough to have a bit of wind) was delightful. It’s a short drive from the ferry and the best spot on the island. The store by the ferry had more than you would expect and great freshly made baked goods - definitely stop in every day and support them. I’ve been going to Lummi for 20 years to walk, paddleboard or hike and this was my first overnight stay. I look forward to making it a habit. The accommodations. It’s VERY clean, organized and has a crisp, welcoming island charm. My 17 year-old enjoyed reading on the deck for hours. There are too many amenities to mention. I wish we’d stayed longer to grill and have dinner in the sitting area by the pond (with a fireplace!). The gardens are beautiful; I stopped more than once to smell the lavender, beach roses and butterfly bush. The bed was so comfortable I slept in late (I wake up at 5:30 alarm or no alarm, so this is a big deal). The kitchen had everything we needed and more. I always appreciate extra touches like butter and creamer (thank you for having coffee and the Keurig!). There are books on the history of the island, which I always like to look through on a stay. Lastly, there was a basket of treats (sorry, my daughter plowed through almost the whole thing - I may or may not have helped her), mints by the bed and fresh flowers. For me, these personal touches are an indication that the owners truly care. Check-out was easy and I drove away refreshed and relaxed. This stay was perfect. Thank you!”
