🌿 MULLEIN IDENTIFICATION🌿
📌 Year 1 (Rosette Stage):
Low-growing rosette of large, fuzzy leaves
Leaves are soft, woolly, and light green to silvery-gray
Grows close to the ground, usually flat
📌 Year 2 (Flowering Stage):
Sends up a tall central stalk, up to 6–10 feet tall
Produces small yellow flowers on the spike (bloom from bottom up)
Stem and leaves still fuzzy or velvety
Prefers disturbed areas: roadsides, meadows, open fields
