I first want to thank each and every person who trusted C&T Travel with booking your travel and vacation needs in 2024! It was truly a great year for my small travel business and that would not have been possible without you! I have so many repeat customers and referrals! I’m truly humbled!
As we embark on the blessings of 2025, I wanted to share a few reminders.
1. Travel quotes come with a cost. Domestic and International quotes (flight and hotel only) are 25.00 for a party of 4 or less and 2 rooms or less. That fee will get you 2 quotes based on your preferences. Additional add ons such as excursion planning, special day add ons (room decor, private transfer options etc) come at an additional cost.
2. Travel quotes come with questions. In order for me to provide you with the best quotes, I must understand your travel preferences. Please be prepared to share Dates of Travel, Travel Location, # of travelers in your party, Preferred Airport, any Airline Loyalty Program Info, TSA Precheck/Global Entry Info, Bedding Preference, Room Level (Oceanview, Tropical View), Your Budget (this seems to be the toughest question of all! Think of what you are willing to and able to spend on the vacation you are planning)
3. Quotes are only good for a predetermined amount of time. That time is determined by the vendor and will be provided to you with your quote. If you do not secure your reservation with a deposit during that timeframe, the quote process starts over. Which means you pay the research fee again.
4. Once booked, my services include pre-travel and destination info sharing, flight check in service, any pre arrival services available. My services DOES NOT include rebooking of canceled or delayed flights that the traveler can work out with the airline and are not the fault of C&T Travel (it can be done but there’s a fee), onsite issues with the room that were not the fault of C&T Travel that can be worked out by the traveler directly with the hotel or resort (it can be done but there is a fee). All of the required travel information such as flight, hotel and transfer info will be provided both at the time of booking and again at final payment. Every traveler has all the info needed to get to their destination when booking with me.
5. Do your own research on the destination you’re traveling to. Understand the weather conditions, travel advisories, location no no’s and additional costs.
If you ask yourself what you are paying for by enlisting the help of a Travel Agent the answer is simple. You’re paying for our time, our expertise (those of us who are truly “well traveled”) and our research. Yes you can do all of this yourself, but do you really want to??? Im never offended by travelers opting to book themselves. I am offended by folks expecting my services for free!!
