💡 Applications are now open for the next cohort of Leadership NEK!

Last year, we had for-profits, nonprofits, state offices, and schools support rising leaders in their organizations by sending them through the program. It was a powerful reminder that leadership in the Northeast Kingdom exists in every sector, and that investing in people is one of the most important things we can do for the future of this region.

Leadership NEK helps participants better understand the systems, challenges, people, and opportunities shaping the Northeast Kingdom. It also helps build confidence, connection, and a deeper sense of possibility.

This week, we were joined in Lyndon by BBB, Eastern New England for a conversation all about building a successful business centered on trust and credibility.

During our discussion, local business owners explored how trust and credibility influence customer loyalty, referrals, online reputation, and long-term growth. Attendees shared strategies for building trust through transparent communication, consistent customer experiences, strong online reputation management, and meaningful community engagement.
