Good morning!
We just launched a crowdfunding initiative for the production investment of our five passenger semi submersible submarine called The Ray. Our campaign is a drive set out to take an educational and exploration platform, and use it as a tool to rekindle an educational awareness, a curiosity, that has since become a lost sunken treasure, buried by the wake of an electronic era. The Ray will become a liminal sphere that can transition fun and adventure from past present and future!
Not long ago, the memories of my childhood were blazon with the truths and inspirations of real-life heroes. The essence of adventure became the force that held forts and friendships together as we pioneered youth. And as the Jacques Cousteaus and the Robert Ballards continued to open up the unknown, our need to get out and see the world grew more and more.
As my generation literally graduated into the 21st-century, we learned to utilize advancements in technology as a tool to drive our quests for curiosity. We were the spearhead cutting through a portal of a very special moment in time... in history… in evolution. We are the last of Generation X. Essays and term papers that were once written with 26 volume encyclopedias that gave way to abridged versions, Cliff Notes and CD-ROM Editions. Our minds were still molding, and a 50 pound backpack of textbooks in middle school eventually turned into a trapper keeper, floppy disks, and a zip drive in high school, and, soon enough, college is just a username and password, until, we fast forward as I presently sit here and dictate this posting to my iMac, which will then be iSent, Google synchronized, and Google saved now that I live my life in an iCloud. It would be an understatement to describe the rate in which resourcefulness availes itself to a westernizing population; insomuch as that taking a trip on Google maps Street view might give us a better understanding of Singapore. Social networking is catching on faster than you can say X squared, and the only FaceTime our hero formally known as dad might get comes from Skype-ing.
For now, I defer to you the paradox of simplisticly complicated living in a hyper tech universe, as we do our best to avoid a sedentary lifestyle that might come with carpal tunnel and your thumbs. It’s time to get back to the basics where science unveils mystery and mystery embraces exploration!
Here at SubSurface Submersibles and The Aqua Ranch we are interested in recapturing that sense of awe that comes sheer awesomeness! The Ray has been engineered to do just that. We created a dynamic environment with matching Recaro captains chairs with a stadium style three passenger aft Lounge that is spacious and comfortable enough to make you feel as if you WERE in your living room. Unlike your couch at home, we do not bring the reef to you, you bring yourself to the reef. The Ray is a high-tech enough that you set out as your own pilot, and not hyper-tech, leaving you free to explore without a captain or crew or rocket science degree. Then, you engage your thrusters for a momentary pulse and that awe overcomes you as you stealthily sore and are immediately reminded of what astronauts must feel like while in space!
Please help us drive campaign with contributions while creating an awareness. Tell your friends!
Best regards, John Antaramian – Pres. – SubSurface Submersibles
