✨ A room with a view—and a little Disney history!

Our home for the next week is a Premium View room at the Disneyland Hotel, looking toward Disneyland Park! 🏰

The original Disneyland Resort hotel opened on October 5, 1955, with just 104 guest rooms during its first year. Air conditioning and a television in every room were among its advertised comforts—quite a treat back in the day!

Today, the Disneyland Hotel has 973 guest rooms, including 71 suites! The Villas at Disneyland Hotel add another 344 accommodations, bringing the entire complex to 1,317 rooms and villas.

In its early years, Hollywood legends including Cary Grant, James Stewart, Jack Benny, and Henry Fonda were spotted here. Such a fun piece of history behind our home away from home!

Now it is our turn to make some family memories at this classic hotel! ✨
