Its been quite a year sinse previous company owner Gary Laabs decided he was gonna sell the boat without letting any of us know... since that day I've been in and out of work. A dollar here dollar they're, just trying to make it through. It was kind of tough and I sure miss seeing all those fish in the cooler, but just as I was climbing out of that dark spot of my life we are now experiencing something much more serious...
The house that my wife and my dog and I have been living in for the last 7 years has burned down couple days ago at 4 a.m. due to electrical problems in the house. We've lost 99% of our belongings all of our furniture medicines and keepsakes. It's quite a disaster and very stressful at the moment but just like losing my job I'm going to have to pick up the pieces and move forward.
Many friends and family members have been very kind and very helpful and so I wanted to reach out to my loyal customers from the awesome fishing years that I had and just let y'all know that any extra prayers, kind words, or help of any sorts is appreciated so much right now. We are safe and off the street but we have no idea where we're going from here. Basically just trying to survive at the moment. There is a lot of details to this story and many pictures videos and proof that will be coming out. But just for now the landlord told me to get my s**t and get the F out of here and not to talk to his insurance company. It does Sound like I'm dealing with another heartless selfish prick But this time he owns the house I rent and not the boat I run. LOL. Man...When will the grey skies clear I wonder, my wife and my dog deserve to be happy.
Thank u for staying in touch this past year guys and gals!! It means something to me and I'm sorry I've not not made much time to communicate via Facebook. I will certainly answer any emails phone calls or just go out for a beer sometime and catch up.

There IS a new boat for me to run in the near future. I may go into business with a close friend / customer from the Dos Hombres.
the boat has been purchased and is being rigged to fish hard in the blue water. But we do need a permit. Offshore Federal Permits. So if anybody knows of one for sale please let me know rite away... that way we can transfer it to this vessel and start getting you guys back out there for even better Adventures... imagine that. Can't wait!
