𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆! 🧳
When packing for your trip, there’s the essentials: clothes, personal care items, electronics & charging devices, etc. But is there anything else you should bring?
Thanks to one of the travel groups I follow, I’ve started a handy list I’ll share with you during our Tuesday Tips. This week, I’ll start with my top three I personally recommend as well.
𝟭) 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱/𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗲:
Duct tape can be used to fix just about any rip or tear, or can hold together whatever you need. The blue painters tape is great for fixes, but can also be used for anywhere you don’t want a surface ruined. Think labels, games on the floor for the kids, covering pesky lights at night, keeping bags sealed, etc.
𝟮) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗺:
This was an EXCELLENT suggestion. In the last few years, we’ve seen travelers lose their lives to carbon monoxide poisoning. Unfortunately, you never know when a leak make occur and accidents can happen. Carrying a travel alarm with you will help keep you safe while you travel. This was recommended several times in my group and I honestly never would have thought of it. So take note.
And last for today:
𝟯) 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀: ✂️
I don’t know how many times I’ve needed scissors for something. Typically, I try to keep a pair designated for our camping gear, and I’ve definitely needed them during hotel stays as well. Of course if you’re flying, make sure these are in your checked bag before arriving to the airport. 🛫
