Looking back at these pictures, I’m grateful I had the chance to share the outdoors with Col. Tom Kelly. Those are moments I’ll always hold close.
Through his words, his wit, and his love for the wild turkey, he gave generations of hunters a way to explain something we all feel but can’t always put into words.
This spring when that first gobble breaks the quiet, I’ll be thinking of him and so will countless others whose lives he touched.
Rest easy, Colonel. Thank you for the words, the wisdom, and the memories.

On October 22, we’re proud to bring The Soldier Fund Social to Noble Barber in Livingston, alongside Wren & Ivy.
Join us for an evening of good food, cold drinks, ci**rs, and conversation with National Guard Green Berets, many of whom call Mississippi home.
These men serve in one of the most demanding military communities in the world, balancing their service with careers, families, and responsibilities here at home.
The Soldier Fund exists to stand alongside them and their families, and we’re proud to support that work.
Tickets are $200, with attendance limited to 75 guests.
