What a fantastic Regatta weekend in Madison. So many folks came from all across the country. Meeting many new people and asking about their lodging, we realized how great of a bargin The Fashion House is for family's and friends to stay when they visit. Folks were paying almost $700/n this weekend for a 1 bedroom at a hotel.

We have a weekend open in August and September right now. Tell your friends and come see the history and feel the soul, of Madison!

SATURDAY ... BIG JOHNNY CASH TRIBUTE SHOW!

If you think the couple in the photo look like Johnny Cash and June Carter ... just wait until you HEAR them! It's totally uncanny and completely fun. This Saturday at Mad Paddle Brewstillery in downtown Madison.

Now, if you’ll permit me a quick glance back at last weekend, I just have to report this year’s MadHop Music Fest was an over-the-moon rip-roaring success. Great bands, huge adoring crowds at every venue. If you haven’t been yet, you are truly missing one of Madison’s great new festival traditions. Mark your calendar for the first Saturday in November every year (unless the Friday right before is Halloween, in which case it slides to the second Saturday.)

OK, on to this week! It is a FAT ol’ weekend of music in Indiana’s Music City. In a rare turnaround, there are actually more shows on Friday than Saturday. You might want to pay special attention to the Friday and Saturday shows at Mad Paddle this weekend. These will be the last two shows there under the ownership of Jerry Wade, the man who transformed that rundown old Feed Mill into a stunning entertainment venue. We owe Jerry a debt of gratitude, and we look forward to what the new owners have in store for our thriving music town.
