I have some itinerary updates to share for my hosted 2027 Italy hosted group in May. We have made some changes that I am SO EXCITED ABOUT!

May 11-18, 2027

Eight days, seven nights, and unpack just once! We’ll settle into charming Montecatini Terme and explore Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, and the colorful coastal villages of Cinque Terre. Think w**ery dinners, olive oil tastings, truffle hunting, and plenty of gelato along the way!

And guess who we’re going back to see? Bruno! Brian and I fell in love with this sweet Bernese Mountain dog back in April at Fattoria il Poggio. I can’t wait to return for the vineyard, the w**e, the wonderful food… and a Bruno reunion!

Wynonna Judd fans, how about a Nashville getaway?

Wynonna takes the legendary Ryman stage March 26 & 27, 2027, with that unmistakable voice, timeless hits, and deeply personal new music!

I think this would pair perfectly with a stay at Dolly Parton’s new SongTeller Hotel and a visit to Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum. Add some good Nashville food and time to explore, and you’ve got a weekend worth planning!

This birthday adventure started with a conversation about Disney.

Kathleen came to me to plan a December trip with her granddaughter. As we talked, she mentioned two other things she really wanted to do: see Niagara Falls and ride the Rocky Mountaineer.

“Can you help with that?”

Absolutely, I can!

Those two wishes became the starting point for an incredible journey through Canada, a gift from her friend in celebration of her 80th birthday. And now that they’re home, I get to share a little of their adventure through these photos!

They flew into Toronto and spent a few days visiting Niagara Falls before flying west to Calgary. From there, they explored Banff and Lake Louise, then traveled along the Icefields Parkway to Jasper, taking in the mountain scenery along the way.

After a night in Jasper, they boarded the Rocky Mountaineer for a journey across the Canadian Rockies, through Kamloops and on to Vancouver. Waterfalls, mountain lakes, fall colors and spectacular scenery from the train. What a way to celebrate 80!

You may know me for cruises and Disney vacations, but I also help plan journeys like this. Sometimes all it takes is mentioning, “I’ve always wanted to…”

Kathleen, thank you for trusting me to help bring this special birthday adventure to life and for letting me share a little of your story. It was such a pleasure to help put it together!
