Disney Cruise Line Revised Guest Policies

Effective June 3, three policy updates will roll out across the fleet, including updates to the alcohol policy, selfie sticks & tripods and stateroom decorations.

🍾Alcohol Policy

Guests 21+ may bring onboard either one unopened bottle of wine or champagne (up to 750 ml) or six beers (up to 12 oz each) at embarkation. All alcohol must be packed in carry‑on luggage. The dining room corkage fee is now $20 per bottle (previously $29). Wine and beer purchased at ports of call will be held until the end of the voyage for Guests. This process is more consistent with practices used across the cruise industry and will continue to provide Guests with options.

June 3 – Policies implemented on Disney Fantasy
June 4 – Policies implemented on Disney Adventure and Disney Magic
June 5 – Policies implemented on Disney Wish
June 6 – Policies implemented on Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny
June 8 – Policies implemented on Disney Dream and Disney Wonder

📸Selfie Sticks & Tripods

Selfie sticks, handheld extension poles, and tripods are permitted onboard and may be used in most areas if folded and under 18 inches. Longer items must be stored in the stateroom and may only be used ashore.

⭐️Stateroom Decorations

One of our favorite traditions is seeing the creativity our Guests share through their stateroom door decorations. With everyone’s safety in mind, decorations can be placed on stateroom doors only and not on hallway walls or ceilings. All decorations must follow existing guidelines.

❓Are you a certified diver, or have you ever wanted to try SCUBA but didn't know where to start? Sandals and Beaches Resorts offer diving INCLUDED with your resort stay for certified divers, and if you're not certified but want to be, their "Discover SCUBA" course is a great way to get your feet wet ;)

Kids as young as 8 can begin learning about diving, and can be officially certified at 10!

🌋Volcano Bay Looks a Little Different After Dark

There's a version of Universal Volcano Bay that most guests never get to see — and it only happens after dark. Volcano Bay Under the Stars ⭐️is back for summer 2026, bringing select event nights to the water park from May through August at Universal Orlando Resort.

⏰On event days, guests can access the park as early as 4 p.m. before exclusive evening hours run from 7 to 11 p.m.

🏖️ Once the night gets going on Waturi Beach, a live DJ sets the tone while hula hoop contests, limbo, and giant games bring the crowd together.

🐼DreamWorks character meet and greets are spread throughout the park, with familiar faces from Shrek, Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon, and Trolls making appearances throughout the evening.

💦Every ride and attraction is open, from the Krakatau Aqua Coaster and Ko'okiri Body Plunge to the lazy rivers and family slides.

🥨 Each ticket also comes with a few complimentary extras — Blue Raspberry Churro Bites, Garlic Parmesan Popcorn, and a Coca-Cola Freestyle Souvenir Cup with refills throughout the night.

🎟️It's a separately ticketed event with limited capacity. Scheduled nights are: May 3, 10, 17, 22, and 31; June 5, 12, 18, and 25; July 10 and 17; and August 7, 14, and 21.
