Our clients Randy and Vicky just got back from an incredible week in Washington, DC, and their words say it all: "We came home tired but happy. We have memories to live off of for years!"

From the Library of Congress (which Vicky called "one of my favorite things") to Mount Vernon, the Museums of the Smithsonian, and a nighttime monument tour that had them seeing DC's most iconic sights lit up against the sky, they packed a full week of exploration and discovery. The Museum of the Bible kept them for 4 hours straight. A personal Capitol tour with two delightful Mississippi interns. Even the hotel breakfast earned high marks.

We're home. ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ โœˆ๏ธ ๐Ÿ 

It's funny how a trip can feel like it lasted both a lifetime and no time at all. A week and a half ago we landed in Edinburgh as a group of old friends and new faces โ€” some of us had known each other for years, others were meeting for the first time at the airport. We came home with all of those lines blurred, the kind of trip where strangers become friends over scotch you didn't really like, hiking around ancient stone circles, and laughing your way through hundreds of miles of single-track roads.

We chased Harry Potter inspiration through Edinburgh's closes, stood where history was made (and broken) at Culloden, wandered 5,000-year-old villages in Orkney, and watched the Highlands roll by from every direction. We ate too much, walked even more, and somehow still didn't see it all โ€” which just means we'll be back.

To everyone who shared this trip with us โ€” thank you for the laughs, the patience, the willingness to try "just one more castle," and for making Scotland feel like home for a little while.

Thank you Kaeleigh and Ian for leading us around and taking care of us in Globus style!
