Cuba by Bike Offering people to people bicycle tours and cultural exchanges in Cuba. This is nothing but fun. A mosaic of Latin/Afro/Caribbean and U.S.

For twenty years we have provided small personalized bicycle tours for groups of 8-15 people in Cuba. We are adept at illuminating "el cubanismo", the beauty that is Cuba and the vibrancy of its culture. This is a unique opportunity to see first-hand the contrasts that are Cuba. influences in a communist country that encourages, private enterprise, black markets, baseball, bicycling and exports th

e best music, ci**rs and rum the world has known. We will not be sitting pool side in chaise lounges. We will be swimming on deserted beaches exploring caves and or relaxing in jungle waterfalls. We will be traveling with and getting to know our Cuban hosts as we pedal an average of 40 to 60 miles a day (4-6 hours). The air is sweet and humid, scenery surrealistic; it’s like riding through a beautiful postcard. We are not out to break distance or speed records. This is a leisurely paced ride where we stop at every breath taking vista, photo op., rum and guarapo stand we see. We try to limit groups to 15 in order to insure flexibility. We have four tour routes we use on the Island. Because we travel with the former Univ of Hav. Cicloturismo club we are able to gain access to various protected and restricted areas, utilize the National Park system and find those little out of the way palaces that only the locals will show you. We offer Havana day tours, Havana bike rentals, and four island tours- Havana and east to Pinar del Rio,Trinidad/Bay of Pigs (central), and two beautiful rides to the eastern/Oriente remote side of the island.
