Update-

Hazel had sprained muscle and is back at it and doing what she loves after a few days rest!

Thankful it wasn’t something more serious, as that’s the way it had looked!

An Update from BattleFowl Outfitters

We want to sincerely apologize to our clients for an unexpected change to our guiding team.

Unfortunately, our lead gun dog, Hazel, suffered a potential season-ending injury today. While we remain hopeful for her recovery, her health and well-being will always come first.

For the time being, our backup guide dog, Lucy Lou (black lab), will be stepping up and handling retrieves on our upcoming hunts until Hazel has fully recovered and is ready to return to the marsh.

Hazel is a huge part of BattleFowl Outfitters, and this is certainly not the news we wanted to share. However, we remain committed to providing every client with the quality hunts and experiences you have come to expect from us.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we navigate this unexpected setback. Thank you for trusting BattleFowl Outfitters with your time in the field. We look forward to making more great memories with all of you this season.

Please keep Hazel in your thoughts as she begins her road to recovery. 🦆🐾
