So exciting!

Galveston’s new cruise terminal at Pier 16 is taking shape and will open this fall to homeport MSC and Norwegian cruise lines. The $156 million cruise complex will include a 165,000-square-foot terminal and a $55 million parking garage.

They will celebrate the opening with arrival of the MSC Seascape, the first MSC ship to homeport in Galveston. MSC Cruises is the world’s third largest cruise line, with a strong and growing presence in North America and the Far East. Their fleet consists of more than 20 modern ships with three new vessels due to be launched in 2025, 2026, and 2027.
