We spent the long weekend in the Flinders Ranges.
We left Thursday afternoon and stayed overnight at Gulnare Freedom Campground, great little spot.
Breakfast was at Crystal Brook at the great Kupsch Bakery, then onto Spear Creek Holiday Park.

And with that we’ve finished 23 days, 5380km through the Red Centre.

Adelaide to Clare Valley, Hawker, Flinders Ranges, Farina, Oodnadatta Track, William Creek, Oodnadatta, Uluru, Kings Canyon, Red Centre Way (Mereenie Loop), MacDonnell Ranges (East & West), Alice Springs (Territory Day!), Coober Pedy, Flinders Ranges, Quorn and back to Adelaide.

If you have the chance to get to the Centre or Flinders Ranges this year it is highly recommended, "greenest it's been in 35 years" we were told by a local.

Finally managed to get a decent night time timelapse. The moonrise turned night into day!

After Kings Canyon we headed to Alice Springs via the Red Centre Way (Mereenie Loop) and West MacDonnell Ranges. Mereeni Loop 😞, more corrugations than a tin roof, a couple of hours of bone rattling, though the scenery was nice. We stopped by Ormiston Gorge and had lunch overlooking the ranges before heading into Alice for a couple of nights.
