Hello fellow 5K runners!

We are nearing the start of our cruise! I cannot wait to meet everyone!

The check-in for the 5K will be on deck 4 on the first full day at sea (7/1) between 10-11. Once you are checked in the actual 5K is on your own, at your own pace! You can run, jog, walk, hop or skip...it's completely up to you!

If you are unable to make it up to deck 4 during this time, let me know! We will arrange a time to meet up.

I will only be ordering medals for those I have received payment from by Friday.

Just wanted to send a quick update. Our medal designer had unexpected surgery but she is doing ok. I should have a final design today or tomorrow. Then we will be placing the order. If you have not paid, the deadline will be 5/9. I want to make sure we have enough time to get the medals in before leaving for the cruise.

We will meet to register and hand out medals on the first full day at sea! I will post a time and location as we get closer to the cruise. I will also post my cabin number once I have it.

Can't wait to be cruising!

Hello fellow 5K at sea runners and walkers!

We have a medal design in the works and will have a final proof later this week. I will share with the group once we have it.

The medals cost $7.50/ medal. We will be collecting $10/participant to cover the cost of the medals plus shipping cost from the supplier and getting them to Europe!

I will leave the registration open until April 26, 2025. In order to confirm your participation, please venmo $10.00/participant to -Highfield (last four digits of my phone number is 7761), please put 5K at sea and your name in the memo line.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

We will do registration and medal handout on the ship on the first full day at sea. I will announce the time and location to pickup medals closer to sailing date.

Update on the 5K at sea!

Below is the official sign up sheet for the 5K at sea on our cruise!

We are actively working on getting a design for the medal and total cost associated with the 5K at sea. As soon as we have it, we will share it!

Please use the link below to sign up for the 5K at sea.

A couple of housekeeping items:

1.) Contrary to what is being shared on the other group page, the only money being collected for this event is the cost of the medals and transporting them to the cruise ship.

2.) Medals will be given out on the cruise ship (not after!). There will be a 2 hour window (most likely on the first or second day at sea) to check in and pick up your medal.

3.) You can walk or run the 5K

4.) You are on the honor system for completing the 5Kā€¦.feel free to do it at your own pace.

5.) This is an activity to have fun with and another way to enjoy your cruise and make new friends!

6.) Feel free to invite anyone to this page who is interested in the 5K.

Hello 5K friends! As of right now we have 47 individuals that are interested in participating in the 5K! The event will be open to 100 people (I need to be able to get the medals across the AtlanticšŸ˜‚). We have someone getting a price on the medals (hopefully today). Based on previous cruises, I am anticipating the cost to be very close to $10/person. This will cover the cost of the medal and any costs associated with shipping and getting the medals to the ship. If there is any money left over, we will donate it to the cast members on the ship (this is what has been done on previous cruises).

Once I have confirmed the cost, we will begin official sign ups (if you have already posted that you are interested, you are part of the count).
