The “C” Family is officially headed to their FIRST Walt Disney World vacation! 🥰✨

And this trip is going to be extra magical because they’ll be celebrating with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! 🎄🎅🏻

✨Carnival Vista Review✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had such a wonderful time aboard the Carnival Vista! 🛳️❤️ This was our first cruise as a family of four with our 2-year-old and 8-month-old, and overall, we had such a great experience!

One of the things I loved most was how easy the ship was to navigate. Even with two little ones and a stroller, getting around was simple and convenient.

🐧 Camp Ocean: My 2-year-old absolutely LOVED Camp Ocean! She was always asking to go back. 😂 It was so nice knowing she was having fun while also giving us a little time to relax and enjoy the ship.

🎭 Entertainment: The entertainment was wonderful! The Fun Squad always had something going on, so there was never a shortage of activities. And the comedy shows were absolutely hilarious! 😂 If you’re sailing on the Vista, I highly recommend seeing the latest comedy show and staying for “Love & Marriage” on the last night before debarkation. It was such a fun way to end the cruise!

🍔 Food: We were really impressed with the food overall. JiJi Asian Kitchen, Cucina del Capitano (Italian), Guy’s Burger Joint, and BlueIguana Cantina were all wonderful! 🌮🍔🍝 The Main Dining Room had some wonderful appetizers, entrees, and desserts that I never would’ve thought to try!

We didn’t do any specialty restaurants this time, but I would definitely recommend Bonsai Sushi and the Steakhouse if you want to add specialty dining.

🌴 Port Stops

🇩🇴 Amber Cove, Dominican Republic
We actually stayed on the ship/port area for this stop, since we visited it on our last cruise. If you visit Amber Cove, you have to check out the pool! There are waterslides available for $6 for unlimited rides, which is a great option if you have kids who love slides. 💦 This port was VERY busy as Mardi Gras was docked with us. Be sure to get off early and grab a spot by the pool!

🏝️ RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay
This was such a beautiful and relaxing beach day! My biggest tip: get off the ship and get settled before 9 AM if you want your pick of lounge chairs and umbrellas. They fill up FAST! We were docked with Carnival Sunshine and it was PACKED!

If you want a quieter area, take the yellow line to Guava or Avocado. We chose Guava because it had a place to eat, shopping, and basically everything we needed all in one spot. It was a great place to spend the day with our little ones! 🌊☀️

🌴 Celebration Key
Our final stop was Celebration Key, and we spent the day in the Starfish Lagoon area with our 2-year-old and 8-month-old. They BOTH had an absolute blast! 🥰

One thing to know: the pools and lagoons are VERY cold! 🥶😂

And definitely try the food trucks as your one included meal! My biggest recommendation? GET THE MINI DONUTS! 🍩🤤 They were so good!

Overall, Carnival Vista was such a fun family cruise, and we had an amazing time. Between the entertainment, food, kids’ activities, beautiful ports, and how easy the ship was to navigate, there was something for everyone.

We would absolutely sail the Vista again! 🛳️❤️
