We want to hear your thoughts on a possible Downtown Mobility Hub that would bring together transportation options in one place. Find out more and take a survey by September 5: www.manassasva.gov/mobility-hub

Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (OmniRide bus service), Virginia Railway Express, and city staff initiated a long-term study for a Downtown Mobility Hub. This project would not only allow the relocation of the existing temporary OmniRide hub closer to Downtown and the VRE/Amtrak station, but also integrate diverse mobility options and create the opportunity for a vibrant public space. The study identified the train depot parking lot as the most suitable site for this project, but different concepts are being considered.

Queremos saber tu opinión sobre un posible centro de acceso a transporte en el centro de la ciudad que ofrecería varias opciones de transporte en un solo lugar. La Comisión de Transporte de Potomac y Rappahannock (con su servicio de autobuses OmniRide) y el tren VRE (ambos etiquetados arriba), además del personal municipal, comenzaron un estudio a largo plazo sobre la creación posible de un centro de acceso a transporte en el centro de la ciudad. Este proyecto no solo permitiría el cambio de ubicación de la terminal existente temporal del bus OmniRide para que esté más cerca del centro de la ciudad y de la estación de trenes VRE y Amtrak, ¡sino que también incorporaría opciones diversas para que viajes en la forma que quieras y permitiría la oportunidad de crear un lugar público dinámico! El estudio determinó que el estacionamiento de la estación de tren en 9431 West St sería el lugar más adecuado para realizar el proyecto, pero se están considerando unos conceptos diferentes.
