t’s easy to miss Skipper Canteen when you’re in Adventureland in hot pursuit of your next Lightning Lane return time. 🌴🤭🍽️ It’s tucked away, fits the surrounding scenery perfectly and is 100% Jungle Cruise skipper approved. Also easy to miss if you don’t know is Skipper’s “secret menu.” Some of the traditional menu offerings may seem a little off the beaten path for some guests, but the secret menu is the star of the restaurant.

🙏🏻🌧️🙏🏻 We can plead “Rain, rain, go away…” but what if it won’t?

Rain is a near-daily guest in central Florida, but it rarely sticks around all day. Even during a downpour, your Disney day doesn’t have to be a washout. Here are a few of my favorite ways to make the most of it:

⭐️Resort Hopping: Resort hopping is SO fun and is a great way to scope out new resorts for your next trip. Some even have their own scavenger hunts!

⭐️Monorail Tour: This is a classic Disney attraction (it’s not just a mode of transportation). Stop for snacks or drinks at Grand Floridian, Polynesian, or Contemporary.

⭐️Skyliner Ride: As long as there’s no lightning or heavy wind, pick up a Skyliner Scavenger Hunt and explore!

⭐️Hit the Parks: Pack ponchos, extra socks, and go! Rain = lower crowds and sometimes...the best memories!

⭐️Disney Springs: Bowl at Splitsville, catch a movie, or splurge on Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil.

🚫 Get it out of your head that rain is going to cancel the magic because it just changes the mood! 😎

Hawaii is always one of those places that couples dream to go for their honeymoon or recent retirees set as their goal for when they are no longer clocking in to their 9-5. 😱Plot twist: Hawaii, especially Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa is so family friendly and offers surprisingly good promotions year round that you don’t need to wait for those crazy milestones or once in a lifetime moments to visit.

Trust me, it is NOT too early to start thinking about holiday travel and it is NOT too early to start thinking about 2026 travel. ✅ The early bird gets the worm, and by worm I mean the resort of your dreams or your ideal cruise stateroom location. ✨

🎁Why not wrap a trip up under the tree for your family this year? Include some fun brochures & maps (👋courtesy of me), trip inspired water bottles or shirts and get the excitement of a countdown started now! 📆 How far in advance do you typically like to start planning your trips?
