Temporary Closure Scheduled for KY 2438 Bridge Beginning Monday, June 22 in Manchester

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a temporary daily closure of the KY 2438 bridge at the junction with US 421 in Manchester.

The closure is necessary to allow permitted work being conducted by the City of Manchester and One Clay County.

Beginning Monday, June 22, through Saturday, June 27, the bridge will be closed daily from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The bridge will reopen to traffic during non-closure hours.

Motorists are advised to follow posted detour signage utilizing KY 3472 (Memorial Drive) and KY 2432 (Littleton Road).

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

Clay County Tourism honors Barbara White Colter as the 2026 Person of the Year Wall of Fame Inductee. Barbara has served Clay County in various capacities and continues to work for the betterment of our town today. She has been a local, state, and community leader for decades. We honor her today and are thankful for her dedication to Clay County.
