Montessori Christian Academy is a state accredited school that provides quality education (including before and after care) in a nurturing environment for toddlers (1 year) through third grade. We are a private, nondenominational Montessori school, centrally located for families who reside in Covington, Abita Springs, Goodbee, Madisonville and Mandeville. Our program offers a quality Montessori Christian education that is stimulating, nurturing and secure. At MCA, we strive to give children a strong foundation spiritually, academically and socially. Our mission is to develop the body, mind and spirit of each child so they can discern right and wrong, good and evil, truth and untruth. We educate for eternity using the Montessori Method created by Maria Montessori. We believe MCA was a vision created by God impressed upon our hearts to be fulfilled. Our staff is filled with a passion for God, children and the Montessori Method. We believe God brought this school together for His glory and purpose. We have witnessed firsthand how accurate Maria Montessori was about "the absorbent mind" of a child. Montessori stated, "Show me a boy at six, and I will show you the man he will be." Before and after care is available from 7:30 a.m. To 5:30 p.m., creating added flexibility around the school day while children continue growing in a nurturing environment. 🌱
