Hi, I’m Angela! The person behind Wandering Wise Travel ✈️

I realized I’ve shared a whole lot about the trips I plan, but not nearly enough about the person actually behind the business. So let’s fix that!

A few things about me:

I’m a Louisiana girl through and through, and Mardi Gras is hands down my favorite holiday. Give me a parade, good food, and a reason to dress up, and I’m there!!

I’m also married, a dog mom to Archie and Reece, and a BIG reader. I love fantasy and romance books, and my TBR list is basically never ending.

I’m also a little bit cruise obsessed. My first cruise was in January 2025… and somehow I’ve been on 9 cruises across 5 different cruise lines since then!

When I’m not traveling, you can usually find me hunkered down at home with my dogs, Archie and Reece. Add some Italian food, especially eggplant parm, a good book, and I’m pretty happy.

I’m definitely an extrovert and will pretty much always say yes to a chat. I love meeting new people, hearing where they want to go, and talking travel probably way more than is necessary.

I’m also a BIG planner but lately, I’ve been challenging myself to be a little more spontaneous. Which is how I ended up on 2 last minute solo cruises, something the planner in me never would have imagined doing a few years ago.

Travel has pushed me outside my comfort zone in so many ways, and I love that I get to help other people do the same.

So, that’s me!

Let’s talk about what Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana has for the kids! 🛝🧸

Kids’ club, a water park, little splash areas, a princess area, game rooms, video games (and yes, they’re FREE to play!), activities, bowling, and of course… plenty of desserts!

There is SO much for kids to do here, and I love having options for different ages and interests. I made sure to check it all out so I could give you the real scoop.

Headed home from a week at the brand-new Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana, and I have SO much to share!

I spent the week getting to know this resort inside and out. From exploring the property, learning all about what makes The Grand different, getting the inside scoop on what’s coming, and checking out all those little details you don’t always see in the brochures.

Because when the bathroom is gorgeous, obviously you have to take a mirror pic!! I don’t make the rules.

I’m leaving with way too many pictures, lots of notes, and a whole lot to tell you about this resort. Just give me a minute to catch up on sleep and I’ll be sharing more!!

I’m staying in the Grand Superior Deluxe Ocean View, here’s a little peek at the room!

It’s spacious, has two queen beds, a huge bathroom, walk-in shower, and has a balcony with an ocean view + private whirlpool bath.

This room is a great fit for girls trips, couples, or a family getaway.

DAY ONE IN PUNTA CANA ✈️🌴

After a 3 AM start, a long travel day, and finally making it to Punta Cana… I’d say day one was MORE than worth it!

I’m in Punta Cana for Beyond the Brochure, getting to experience Moon Palace The Grand firsthand so I can give my clients a true look at what this resort is really like.

After checking in, I got settled into my room and y’all… LOOK HOW GORGEOUS😍 The room is beautiful, and that balcony whirlpool bath may have already stolen my heart.

Then it was time for dinner at Momo Teppan, the resort’s hibachi restaurant. Great food, drinks, and even better company with the girls- fellow travel agents who make these trips so much fun!

After dinner, we spent the evening exploring the resort and getting a first look at everything The Grand has to offer.

And after being up since 3 AM? The perfect way to end the night was truffles and wine on my balcony, soaking in the whirlpool bath. 🍷✨

A long travel day, but a pretty incredible first night in Punta Cana.

I’m officially out of the office and headed to Punta Cana for an exclusive travel advisor trip to experience the brand-new Grand Moon Palace!

I’ll be spending the next few days exploring the resort, checking out the rooms, restaurants, pools, activities, and everything else this new all-inclusive has to offer — so I can give my clients firsthand insight when I’m back.

While I’m away:

✈ For current clients: Your travel documents have been sent, so please review them carefully. If you have any questions, feel free to email or DM me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. If you are currently traveling, I am available 24/7 for you!

💌 For new inquiries: Keep them coming! I’ll start responding to new trip requests once I return.
