Last night, some of our Ahoy New York crew got to see Maybe Happy Ending on Broadway. It's the sweet, surprising story of two retired robots finding real connection in near-future Seoul, told with way more heart than you'd expect and an excellent musical score to match.
We all came out feeling charmed, a little wistful, and honestly kind of hopeful. We also all agreed on how lovely, mature, and well-thought-out this show actually was. From sets and lighting, to music and sound, to costumes, to the amazing actors on that stage, it was all so impressive. We also happened to be there on Kids' Night on Broadway, a program presented by the Broadway League that invites kids 18 and under to see a free Broadway show when accompanied by a full-paying adult. For some kids, this might have been their first show... and you never forget the impact of your first Broadway experience.
So grateful for this crew, for this city, and for nights like last night. We get to show people the best of New York City for a living, and every once in a while, New York City shows us something pretty amazing right back.
