Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana is an adults-only escape, perfect for couples and travelers looking for a relaxing, upscale getaway. Guests can enjoy elegant accommodations, multiple restaurants and bars, poolside relaxation, beach service, entertainment, and opportunities to unwind at the spa. Guests staying here have access to Hyatt Ziva.

Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is ideal for families, offering spacious accommodations, family-friendly pools, a water park with slides, kids’ and teens’ activities, a variety of dining options, live entertainment, and plenty of room for everyone to relax and have fun. Real talk…

A FAM trip is A LOT of work. 😂

I’ve done 18,000 steps today going from resort to resort for site visits, and I have maybe an hour to myself before dinner.

And what am I doing with that hour?

Taking a shower and working. 😂

This is NOT a vacation.

But honestly, this is the part that makes me better at my job. I get to actually see the resorts, the rooms, the restaurants, the pools, the beaches… and experience them for myself so I can give my clients better advice.

So while it may look like I’m in Punta Cana having a fabulous vacation, I’m actually working my butt off. 😂

My feet are tired, I’m sweaty, and I’m still answering messages.

But I’m also learning a TON — and that makes me a better travel advisor.

So I’ll take it. ❤️

Today we’re soaking up every bit of Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana before we head over to Hard Rock Punta Cana later today to meet up with our team!

But until then… we get to enjoy everything this beautiful property has to offer. 🌊☀️🍹

Round TWO of site visits, and this time I’m off to Punta Cana! 🇩🇴

ANNND GUESS WHAT?!?!

I DID IT.
I packed a carry-on. 🙌🏼😂

Yep. Me. A carry-on. And you better believe I SAT ON IT to get that sucker zipped. 😂

But let me be honest… I’m not sure I’m happy about this decision. Hahaha!

Because apparently, hauling a tiny suitcase through the entire airport is the price I have to pay for not checking a bag. 🤣

I know, I know…
At least I know where my luggage is at ALL times.
I didn’t have to wait at baggage claim.
And I saved money on a checked bag.

So don’t come for me. 😂

Now tell me…

Are you a checked-bag person or a carry-on person?!
Because I’m currently somewhere between “I’ve changed my ways!” and “Why did I do this to myself?” 😂✈️
