A Garden Party to Say Thank You!

We recently hosted a special garden party to recognize the Sabine Parish Master Gardeners, Janice Hutton, and the owners of TAE Lawn Service.

Together, they did a wonderful job renovating and beautifying the landscaping around the Sabine Parish Tourist Commission.

Their hard work and dedication have made our grounds more welcoming and beautiful for everyone who visits!

Today is Education Day at the Zwolle Tamale Fiesta!🌶️🚌

Third graders from across the area have come together for a day of learning, exploring, and making memories! From experiencing local culture and traditions to discovering the outdoors safely and everything in between, students are visiting a variety of hands-on stations that make learning fun.

We’re proud to see our community come together to give these students a chance to learn something new, experience our local heritage, and enjoy a day of education beyond the classroom!

It’s Senior Day at the 50th Annual Zwolle Tamale Fiesta! 🎉

We’re celebrating our area’s senior citizens today with a fun day in Zwolle, including bingo, fellowship, and plenty more going on throughout the day.

If you haven’t made your way to Zwolle yet, come on out and enjoy the fiesta! There’s still lots to see, do, and enjoy. 🫔🌶️💃🏾

From preserved structures to meaningful historic locations, this special journey is a great opportunity to experience the rich heritage found right here in Sabine Parish.

Halloween is coming to historic Fort Jesup!
Join us for Halloween at the Fort on Saturday, October 3 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Take an evening hayride through historic military scenes, including a watchman’s post, the original military graveyard, a medical tent, and a soldier’s campsite.
The evening ends at the original kitchen building with historic games, popcorn, and apple c***r. It’s a unique way to kick off the Halloween season while experiencing a little of Sabine Parish’s history! Toledo Bend Lake Country

Who’s ready for a patriotic 4th of July Boat Parade on Toledo Bend?

We’re excited to lead a fun-filled parade along the lake as we celebrate America’s 250th! You can ride the entire route with us or jump in anywhere along the way.

Boat lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Pedleton Bridge and the parade starts at 10 a.m. Check out the route map, find your spot, and follow along as we cruise beautiful Toledo Bend together. The parade will end at Cypress Bend Park.

We can’t wait to see the lake filled with boats, flags, and patriotic spirit. Don’t forget to decorate your boat and show off your America 250 pride as we celebrate 250 years of freedom on the water!
