Besides its impressive pool complex Disneyland Hotel is home to Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki lounge but also the quick service food spot Tangaroa Terrace. They also have Goofy’s Kitchen for a sit-down character meal!! Trader Sam’s is a fun experience and I have some pointers for pointers for clients. Kids aren’t allowed in past a certain hour. As for Tangaroa Terrace, my daughter claims their cheeseburger was one of the best things she ate in all of Anaheim. They also feature the famous Dole Whip here as well!

Besides the food options and pool the property has a 24/7 fitness center and some shops!

Disneyland Hotel amenities did not disappoint! Besides its close proximity and ease to the parks, it is home to a pretty impressive pool complex. We spent our arrival day and part of the next hanging out by the pool, enjoying the lounge chairs under the umbrella, hot tub, the water slide, and the refreshing water. I was quite impressed by the size of the complex, which also features more than one place for the little ones to splash around as well, poolside food and drink servers, and a sit-down bar. An extra perk you can book as part of your selected room type is club level access. All three Disneyland properties have club level as do the Deluxe resorts at Disney World and Gran Destino tower at Coronado Springs. I’ve been to all of the East Coast options but this was my first on the West.

The High Key club is an impressive space up on the 11th floor of the Adventure Tower. They feature floor to ceiling windows and lots of space to sit and unwind with included breakfast, lite snacks midday, beer/wine, and some hot/cold food options and dessert at night. You can also sit and view the nighttime fireworks show from here! So cool! Makes for less need to scramble to find something to eat before heading to the parks, and a place to grab a refreshing drink (sodas and sparkling waters, juice, milk, tea/coffee..) on breaks! Also, you can have as many Mickey bars as you want here as well. You just have to ask and they magically appear. All is included in the price of your room. Check it out! ✨💫

Our plan for the Disneyland parks was created based on a few factors. One, we have been several times before but not made it to Cali parks in a bit of time and so we needed to do what was new, or what we passed on before. We also had a limited amount of time so we prioritized new experiences mixed with our favs. Last, this trip seems like the perfect opportunity to try the Premier Pass option, which allows you to skip lines without the reservations that the regular Lightning Pass requires. That said, we capped out after 7 hours and accomplished the following across Disneylands two theme parks-

16 attractions
1 snack
1 quick service sit down break
Lots of character sightings

We chose to go back to the hotel, recharge and relax in the lounge a bit and then use the pool before our flight. We could’ve stuck around and easily accomplished at least 5+ more attractions but we were satisfied and know the overlapping Disney rides well since we go often. As you can imagine there are a lot of rides shared by both coasts. So we left feeling accomplishment and happy. A win!!!🙌🏼

We had the pleasure to make a pitstop in Anaheim after a concert in San Diego this month and of course had to stay at the Disneyland Hotel and experience the magic on the West Coast, even if short lived.

We stayed in the Adventure Tower of Disneyland Hotel with a cute pool view. Staying here got us to our lunch reservation at Din Tai Fung in 3 minutes inside Downtown Disney, and to the parks with less than a ten minute walk! So convenient, there really is no other way! Check it out! ☀️✨💫
