The splash pad at Crossroads at Silverbell District Park is perfect for anyone looking to cool off in Southern Marana. Connected to a multi-use athletic field, the splash pad offers over a dozen ground sprayers and a unique light show after sunset you can only find in Marana.

It is time for your holiday weekend event rundown for everything happening in and around Marana!

On behalf of Discover Marana, we hope you enjoy your long Labor Day weekend.

Stay cool this weekend at the Marana Aquatic and Recreational Center with their Labor Day hours! Indoor Recreation: 5:30 AM – 9 PM. Competition pool: 6 AM – 8 PM. Recreation Pool: 12 PM – 8 PM.

All weekend long

· Arizona’s Wildcats at Saguaro National Park West: Every weekend in August from 2:15 PM – 3 PM, join an interpretive ranger at the Visitor Center as they explore the four types of wildcats that roam around Arizona. 2700 N. Kinney Rd.

· Cool Summer Nights at the Desert Museum: See the desert museum come to life at night and enjoy it with cooler temperatures from 7:30 PM – 10 PM. 2021 N. Kinney Rd.

Saturday

· Southern Arizona Salsa, Tequila, & Taco Challenge: Come on out for its 13th year at the El Conquistador. An evening that brings together the region’s top chefs and mixologists from 6 PM – 8:30 PM. Registration and ticket prices can be found on our website. 10000 N Oracle Rd.

· Live music at the Station Pub & Grill: Come on out to the Station from 8 PM – 10 PM and dance the night away with the Total Recall Band. Enjoy food and cold beer while listening to great music. 8235 N Silverbell Rd.

· Vibrance Under the Stars Night Market: Step into the world of creativity, flavor, and community at Button Brew House from 6 PM – 9 PM. Bring family and friends, shop, eat and drink! 6800 N Camino Martin Ste. 160.

·ClassPop! Craft Tri-Colored Handmade Pasta at Button Brew House from 1 PM – 3 PM. Learn the time-honored technique for crafting tri-colored pasta from scratch using fresh ingredients. Registration required. 6800 N. Camino Martin Ste. 160.

· Come rock out at Catalina Brewing Company from 7 PM – 10 PM with Rock and Roll Revival. Big Sexy’s Chicken Wangs & Thangs will be cooking it up from 5 PM – 9 PM. 6918 N. Camino Martin #120.
