It's official...we're running our first "On the Road" week for 2026!

Over just the past few weeks, our clients have been to Antigua, France, Italy, London, Amsterdam, Spain, the Galapagos, Portugal, Switzerland, Croatia & Ireland. What globe-trotters you all are!

We're going to start off strong in Italy where a trip to visit their daughter studying in Florence turned into an epic 2 week vacation with friends in tow! The amazing trip was made extra special when they got to spend a day with The Tuscan Wanderer exploring the countryside!

Portugal is one of the oldest countries in Europe - its borders have barely changed since 1139.

Ancient castles, colorful tiles, fresh seafood, and some of the friendliest locals on the continent. Oh, and in the fall? The weather is still gorgeous and the prices drop significantly.

It's basically Europe's best-kept secret and it might be time to move it to the top of your list.

Did you know the crowds at the Eiffel Tower drop by nearly HALF in the fall? (Think mid to late October through November).

Shorter lines, golden light, and the city feels like it actually belongs to you.

Where's YOUR first stop in Paris going to be? The Louvre, Montmartre, Eiffel Tower, Versailles, a cafe for crêpes, somewhere else entirely?

We LOVE working with The Tuscan Wanderer and this post made us really laugh. 100% accurate!

Wine tasting in Tuscany sounds romantic until you realize you never want to leave.

One minute you’re “just doing a tasting,” and the next you’re three glasses deep, buying olive oil you somehow need to ship home, and seriously questioning why you don’t live in a stone villa in Montalcino.

This is exactly why we love taking our guests to small boutique wineries hidden in the Tuscan countryside. The kind of places you’d never randomly find on Google or drive past by chance. No tourist traps, no rushed experiences — just amazing wine, beautiful views, and winery owners treating you like family by the second glass.

Honestly… these always end up being everyone’s favorite days in Tuscany.

Sometimes the days with “nothing scheduled” end up being the ones that make you feel like you actually got to know a place.

Of course it's important to visit the must-see sights, but don't be afraid to have some time to yourself too. Some people find this a bit scary, and we get it. What if I wander in the wrong direction? What if people can't understand me? Trust us, if you can find the courage to strike out on your own without a guidebook or agenda, you'll have a blast. And just think...worst case, you have a GREAT story for when you get home.

So try to leave space for the moments you can’t plan: the café you stumble into because it started raining, the quiet street you wander down with no destination (and happen to find the cutest little shop), the extra hour spent lingering over dinner because you’re not rushing to the next thing (this feels like a gift compared to the pace of life in the US).
