The designer of the iconic red telephone boxes, Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, wanted them to be silver with a blue/green interior. The General Post Office decided to go with red in order to make them stand out against the fog, be distinguishable in an emergency, and to match their royal mail delivery vans!

An absolutely beautiful Day 4 in Italy! We started the morning off with a walk around Santa Margherita Ligure before boarding the ferry to Portofino (just a 15 minute ride!). There, we had a fantastic tour with Gabriele & Francesca before making some fresh pesto, yum!

Did you know that the towns are connected by a walking path? In just over an hour we were able to follow it along the coast, enjoying jaw dropping views the entire time. Expert tip: it always makes the trek worth it when you grab a gelato at the end. 😉

We were all enchanted with these two towns and can’t wait for our clients to discover them too!

SFT is at it again!

We’ve gathered together for our annual “Team Trip” and this year, it’s Italy! We hit the road to see cities & towns, hotels, guides, transportation, restaurants, and more, in a place that’s always in high demand with our clients.

Over the past three days we’ve covered a lot of ground, seeing Milan, Lake Como, and the Piedmont Region. We’ve leaned so much and there’s more to come. Stay tuned for more updates and incredible locations. Any guesses as to where we’re headed next?
