Took time off during my busy season to take my grandson Camden out shelling in the 10,000 islands. We left the house at 5:45 AM in new moon darkness so he got to experience navigating in total dark abyss! 🏝️👣🌊🐚🥰❤️🌞😎✌️.

What an epic St Paddy’s day with all these lovely ladies. Bitter cold windy weather didn’t stop them from finding soooo many precious shells filling their NLST bags. It was their first time ever Shelling in the 10,000 islands. these ladies were quick to learn what to look for and to see their smiles when they came up to me with their finds was priceless. If you ask what fuels me to do what I do, I would say this is the highest octane that I could ever get..

Sweet Maddie finds what she first thought was an empty horse conch only to find this large, stunning, beautiful hermit crab occupying this shell. This hermit crab was quickly safely returned to the water after this video was taken..🏝️👣🌊🐚🦀🥰🌞😎✌️.

Maddie has shared with me that she loves hermit crabs, so it was fitting that she would find this on her first Shelling tour a 10,000 islands. To shell here in the 10k was on her bucket list for spring break. 🦀❤️👍
