I am SO glad I didn’t let doubt or fear talk me out of getting on the yak and getting in the water. 🐚💛

Because let me tell you… this was NOT exactly the weather I had pictured. 😂

Super gray skies. Crazy high winds. Choppy water. Definitely not ideal conditions for kayaking or snorkeling, and there were more than a few moments when the little voice in my head was saying, Maybe this is a terrible idea…” 😅

But I had come all the way here... and I just couldn’t let the weather be the reason I turned around.

So I loaded up my trustee banana boat, got out there, and decided to make the best of whatever Mother Nature was willing to give me.

And WOW. 🥹🐚

LOOK. AT. THESE. QUEEN. CONCHS. 👀💛 And a MASSIVE Horse Conch!

Sometimes the conditions aren’t perfect. Sometimes you have to pedal a little harder, get tossed around a little more, and push past that initial “Is this really a good idea?” feeling.

And sometimes... on the other side of that doubt, you find exactly what you came for!

There is something about being out on the water, searching, exploring, and never knowing what you’re going to find beneath you that makes every bit of effort worth it.

And honestly? I think this is your reminder that perfect conditions aren’t always required for an amazing shellventure.

Sometimes you just have to go.
Sometimes you have to trust God.
Sometimes you have to get a little uncomfortable.
And sometimes… you end up with a yellow kayak full of QUEEN CONCHS. 😂🐚💛

Ran over to Delray Beach on 09/28/26 for an East Coast Shell session but soon found out I was no match for the brutal midday sun. I didn't dig long in that heat. But my favorites are the Sea Heart and the Hamburger Bean.
